Am honored to be part of the 40th year lineup of the Michigan City Public Library “Writing Out Loud” author series. My reading (and interview!) is Saturday, October 12, 7:30pm.

I got to “read” in Australia (virtually) at the Geelong Library for the launch of CONFIDENCE 2.

“Art on the Air” interviewed me for Lakeshore Public Media — my first time on the radio!

I’ve been named the Barbara Friedman Poet Laureate of LaPorte County!! Very excited to help promote poetry and community in the year ahead.

Reading for the Northwest Indiana Women in Poetry Creative Innovations Week, April 17 at Michigan City Library. Dinner first at 5:30p. Free!

My poem “Carnelivarium” won the Poetry Prize for the Australian Anthology “Confidence 2”, forthcoming in May 2024.

2023

Watermark, the literary journal of California State University-Chico chose my poem “Small Seams” for their 10th anniversary issue.

2022

Australia’s ABC Radio News Breakfast asked me to read a poem from HOUSE OF MCQUEEN for their Friday series, to follow Katie Somerville, Senior Curator of Fashion and Textiles, National Gallery of Victoria who spoke about their new Alexander McQueen exhibit. You can hear me read “McQueen’s Bop with the Interviewer” here.

My poem Examining the Phytolith has been published in POETRY.
They also featured in on Instagram, where it has received over 1K likes!

“Other shadows have gone in there and” was selected by guest editor Allison Adelle Hedge Coke for Navigations: A Place for Peace issue of About Place Journal, Spring 2022 and is up here.
